Maybe you’ve always been the peacekeeper.
The one who listens, who compromises, who keeps the relationship going.
But lately, you’re tired. Tired of being the one who tries. Tired of questioning yourself.
Tired of feeling like your needs are too much—or not enough.
You’re not broken. You’re carrying relational wounds that were never yours to bear alone.
Here’s a space where you can finally talk it through.
I work with people who feel stuck in painful relationship patterns—whether with partners, parents, friends, or themselves.
You might be:
●   Longing for connection but scared to trust
●   Wondering why you keep repeating the same dynamics
●   Questioning if you’re “a bad person”
●   Exhausted from giving too much and receiving too little
Together, we explore what shaped these patterns—and what you actually need to feel safe, seen, and supported.
Therapy with me is trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in nervous system awareness.
We go at your pace. We start where you are. We build safety together.
Sessions are in-person in Plumstead, Cape Town or Online for clients across South Africa.

HI, I'M DELIA
and I believe that healing starts with feeling safe enough to talk it through. I work with people who have spent years trying to be the good one, the calm one, the one who doesn’t make waves. You might be deeply thoughtful and emotionally aware… but also exhausted, uncertain, or painfully alone in your experience. If you’ve been stuck in one-sided relationships, repeating patterns you can’t make sense of, or questioning your own worth — I’m here to help.
MY APPROACH
I offer therapy that’s trauma-informed, relational, and paced gently around your needs.
That means:
●   You don’t need to have it all figured out
●   You’re not a problem to solve
●   You’re allowed to go slow, ask questions, change your mind, and feel your feelings here
Together, we create a space where your voice matters.
Where you can bring the messy, contradictory, uncertain parts of yourself—and talk them through with care.
BACKGROUND AND TRAINING
I am a Registered Psychological Counsellor with 17 years of experience.
I hold an Honours degree from UNISA, and am registered with the HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa).
My work is informed by:
●   Attachment theory
●   Polyvagal theory
●   Brain-based approaches, including hypnosis. Sometimes, words aren't enough; brain-based approaches work with the patterns that live deeper than language.
WHY THIS WORK MATTERS
I came to this work because I know what it means to long for connection, and to be met with silence, criticism, or confusion.
It is hard to heal alone. But when you are given the right kind of presence, everything can start to shift.
You don’t have to carry it by yourself anymore.
"When we talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary."
